F&S Ignition Switch / Choke Knob Relocator

What a PAIN IN THE ASS TO PUT ON!

Ok, got that out of my system. This thing looks great and it's wonderful to have the key / choke in easy reach, but it was a royal pain to put on. You have to remove the seat and tank and you loose the ability to open the left hand side-cover. Then you have to slit open and unwrap about a foot of the main wiring harness to get the wires you need out. Two of them will have to be cut and "spacer wires", provided in the kit, crimped in. Make sure you cut them at different points, as it's easier to get them into the new wire-loom afterwards. It's pretty obvious that whoever wrote the instructions for this kit had hands the size of a 5 year old child. That's the only way you could get your hands where they did. I pretty much followed the directions, except that I did not route the wires over the rear jug, the plug won't fit through the frame gap without mangling it and there's plenty of wire to run it through the left side of the frame and route it along the frame bar with the other wires/hoses. Also, it appears that Kaw is now including the bracket needed for the FI models in the kit, you don't have to buy it separately anymore.
